BTW,

Does anyone not know the true intent behind this preposterous law? It's to chill annonymous criticism of big business by disgruntled consumers and employees, and annonymous criticism of the government by disgruntled citizens.

Employees are fired and sued by their employers all the time for leaving annonymous, critical statements about their employers, managers, etc. on internet forums. Corporations regularly hire law firms to sue ISP's on false pretenses of ie: trade secrets, to obtain indentifying information on annonymous posters. The practice was so pervasive that a law was previously passed providing for an award attorney's fees to persons sued by giant corporations for wrongly attempting to stifle critical speech by use of the court system.

Now, some corporate pimp slipped an amendment into a large bill, and Bush signed it.

    Wink

Gee, am i in the right place? I was supposed to be on the drumming forum...

How about linking this sh** to another forum instead of here? But don't think that for a second means that I've my head in the sand...but this just isn't the place. JMHO. I'm not going to start a sermon at the local stripjoint, or a lap dance in the nearest church [that would be scary anyway].

But y'all' be happy to know I's still a staunch advocate of the Amendments / Constitution regardless [that so many lude folks cry & run & hide behind to further their agenda]...so rant n rave on.

Just don't make me have to start stating my HO & calling names like Marxist-Socialist-Commie-Pinko-Covert/Subversive Leftist-Loons or Self-Righteous Overly Judgemental Fanatical Extreme Right Winger [Headed for a Heartbreak]...

That's it. This thread is very annoying. I'm calling the FBI awa CIA.
Right after i take the Vinne, Weckl, Donati, & Novak Blow Everyone Else Including Your Stupid Candidate for Office Away argumnt over to the Political forums...

Actually, true communism would be much nicer anyway...

Isn't it amusing how completely Bush supporters have been conditioned to label Bush critics as leftists, and how they immediately try to change the focus on something/someone else? And, do you notice the more vehimently someone opposes Bush, the more "far left" that person is labeled. As if being extreme in opposition to fascism makes one more left. It's just so predictable is hilarious.

Anybody hear know what VOIP is? Are the gamma rays that are kept out of your treponated skull by a tinfoil pyramid hat preventing you from knowing what it is?

    47 USA 223

Well now...I can't anonymously harass over the PHONE? FACISTS!!!

Of course, it is the fault of the Carlyse group which paid off people sa that the laws would be changed for this to, like happen and stuff.

    NO BLOOD FOR OIL!

LOL, guys, seriously, you're really jumping into the shallow end of the gene pool here.

With everything else going on, & on top of that, perusing & posting in here, that's too much work to have to go to all that [unfortunately], JM!

I am what one might label a moderate independent [bit libertarian, AWA liberal AND conservative ideals] middle kind of guy, as i feel taking far sides [extremism] to one side or the other is quite a dangerous practice. There are actually many ideologies on both the demo/lib AWA repub/conserv side that i adhere with, AWA those that i think are absolutely looney-tunes. I strive to try to deal with & weigh philosophies, ideologies, agendas, AWA independent cases on strictly an individual basis before leveling accusations or running with mass gossip on either side of the coin ["he/she said; parties said-"]. Besides, to me, having "two sides" from which to "choose" is just stoopit. Right is right, & that's all there is to it. The problem is, people are confused as to what "right" is. This is why some religions are devided into many subclasses or "churches." People disagree on their indy interpretation of things. Doctrine can be found to be good or bad, but it will also have groups of tightly-wound people's crazy interpretations.

But I will concur with the assessment that both the labels repub AWA demo were originally quite a bit different than they indicate now...& that there are "a**-chasms" on both sides of the coin muddying the water.

I'll never take anyone elses' ideology w/out first checking into it for myself. Spin [lies] are EVERYWHERE, folks...used by selfish people to promote & push their agendas. On both sides of the coin. It's up to us to study up to be smart enough to identify it.

See...i don't have time to go to all those links... i'm too busy wasting it here in this thread...maybe i'll make the time someday...

OK, now i've been goaded. Via intelligent thesis, with MINIMAL name calling, insults, or flaming, could either JM, BR, or anyone else make a brief summation of this thread's "Cuckoo Clock" controversy?

PS - DSOP - save your $$. Going to one of those is like going to the drum shop & staring at all the wonderful goodies with sweaty palms, w/o a dollar to yer name. Haven't been to one in at least 13 yrs, since i was in the club [& bottle club] rock bands, & cut off the big highlighted hair, lost the dangling earring & ripped jeans & spandex/parachute pants, stopped the George Hamilton fake tan spray on top of the sunburn routine, & cut out the skirt-flirt & bottle chasing. It's senseless. Unless you're dating one [or more] of the dancers. Then that could be a WHOLE other tense & pensive ball-game/ roll of the dice-gamble....meaning, even more senseless...
